Great info and great pics

I've read this whole thing and now I find myself going back every couple of weeks to refresh myself as my pregnancy progresses. There is a ton of information and has some really great pics that let you see what your baby looks like at each stage. And I'm not talking hand drawn cartoon-like pictures, but much more true to life illustrations. I wish you could peek inside the book online. I'm sure more moms would by it if they could.
Also, it's format is much easier to follow than the Q&A format of the What to Expect books. It also doesn't have that cutesy language that I found to be such a turnoff in other books.

I'm Pregnant

This is my first pregnancy and was planning on getting the popular, ''What to Expect when you're Expecting" book, but after reading the reviews for that book I decided to find another. I decided to grab this one even though there were very few reviews, but they were all good so that sold me. This book is very informational and easy to read at the same time. I was surprised to see that this book is pretty big with up to 448 pages! Ha, but I catch myself going back to it and taking notes. This book eases my mind about pregnancy and does not scare me. I love this book and would recommend to anyone.

Very informative

This book reads like an encyclopedia so I think this will live on my shelf for many years to come. It is definitely written by a doctor so there is a lot of deference to 'call your doctor' but I think it's significantly better than 'What to expect' and I look forward to reading the monthly sections.
The chapters are divided into 4-week chunks and subdivided into what's going on with your body, at your appointment and with the fetus. Very well illustrated, no silly anecdotes or fake stories or questions, just straightforward information on all the topics you can imagine. The index is also very useful.
