Really good for kids and families

I never really paid attention to this book when we got it, I don't even know how we got it, but a few months ago our 8-year old brought it out and now we've enjoyed several dinners and treats cooked by her (with some supervision of course). Last night she did the Chocolate Bombs, and they were excellent.
The recipes are very simple but if you follow them closely, it seems every dish is a success.

The book is ok. We haven't really tried the recipes yet, but the ones I've looked through look like they wouldn't be too flavorful or had weird ingredients. It would be nice if there was a kids cookbook out there that had easy basic recipes, like macaroni and cheese made with Velveeta or Cheez Whiz.

Young Cook

My 10 yr old grandson is interested in cooking and always wants to help in the kitchen. He occasionally makes a meal for the family. He loved this as a gift and was excited to get started cooking! I liked the illlustrations and the size of the pages and text.
